We believe that these five indicators are the basic points for all products. Some products we review will have additional rating criteria, but all will include these five basic points.
Design Innovation
The Spark ProTeck starts off as a basic but rather heavy-duty dab rig. Then it’s wrapped in an extremely durable platinum-cured silicone sleeve which almost renders it break-proof.
To further the design innovation, they added a spot around the base to hold the poker tool. Their next step was to add a secret stash at the bottom and then they topped it off with LED lighting to make it glow. Talk about innovation!
Product Quality
This elite dab rig is produced using the ultimate material: borosilicate glass and platinum-cured silicone. It claims to have a “steel” poker tool, but I’m pretty sure it’s stainless.
Everyone knows that borosilicate glass is top-of-the-line for smoke-ware, but not everyone knows that platinum-cured silicone is one of the most durable silicone products on the market. And that’s one of the reasons the Spark gets such a high rating from us.
User Experience and Ease of Use
I’m sure that you will agree that this rig really delivers! It produces massively smooth rips. It may be a bit on the bulky side, but that is countered by the fact that it’s easy to hang on to due to the silicone sleeve… Or you can even grab it by the neck when using it.
The comfortable feel of the silicone sleeve and the fact that you can turn the lights down low and turn on its LED light make it really satisfying to use.
Ease of Maintenance and Cleaning
The silicone sleeve is removable making it simple to keep this rig clean. Simply remove the sleeve and banger or bowl and pour in your favorite cleaning solution. The fact that the showerhead percolator is a fixed stem is the only thing that keeps if from earning a 5 on the ease of cleaning criteria.
Price and Value
I believe you get more Bang for your Buck with the Spark ProTeck LED Dab Rig. If you could even find a comparable rig, it would be hard to compare price-wise.
Many dab rigs on the market cost much more than the Spark and aren’t even comparable in value. You can consider this rig to be on the 5+ rating level for this criteria.
Should You Get the Spark ProTeck LED Dab Rig
I highly recommend it! Any cannabis aficionado should have one or more of these in their collection. I’m going to have one of each color in mine soon.
